How can i control New product module appearance

Please i want to know if there is any ability to  control New product module appearance, For example if there is no new item disappear this module or replaced with another module?

In the blocknewproducts module settings you have an option to always show it.

you can change value of option that defines how long products will be treated as new, under preferences > products 

but in this case you cant select exact products. 

 

if you want to control what products will be show in the block, you have to use some module to build custom products feeds, like homepage products pro etc.

Thanks guys for feedback, but i want dynamic solution if there is new product module changed to other one for example viewed item, if there is no viewed item this module disappeared from home screen.
