cscreenstore
Hello, I am having a problem with the top horizontal menu of a new theme I purchased. I went into the back office to put some links in the menu, such as Home, Contact Us, and Sitemap. I put the links in and when I refreshed the front office there were other links there as well as mine. These links were not in the back office. I tried clearing cache, uninstalling and re-installing the menu block, but I cannot get rid of these extra links. I have looked in the database and the extra links are not there. They are only visible in the front office. I will be contacting the developer, but I thought it might be quicker to try here first. Thanks Kathleen
endriu107
Maybe your new theme use own menu module?
cscreenstore
Thank you for replying. The problem is occurring in the themes menu module. I have uninstalled the default top horizontal menu. Kathleen
shokinro
most of theme have its own top menu modules. I think you will have to configure menus on module configuration screen at back office - Modules tab.
cscreenstore
Hello shokinro, I have already configured the theme module and it is still not working. I still have extra links that are not in the back office, but appear in the front office. Thanks

cscreenstore
The problem has been solved. I just needed to remove the links from the .tpl file for the menu. Thanks
shokinro
that's a good news. but I think that could be a bug of the theme - all menus should come from database which is configured at module configuration.
