Block Layered Navigation set filters disappears by pressing the back button

Hello everyone,

My PrestaShop version 1.6.1.3, the theme is not default.

I use the Block Layered Navigation module, I choose some attribute filters, filters the goods well, go to the product, and go away, pressing the browser's back button. All of the above filters to choose disappears during reloading.

Maybe someone you know why this happens?

I just checked your store and the layered navigation functions. it looks working fine to me (using Chrome).

I can see all the filters are still there, but the selected values are reset as original default values.  I thinks this is normal, because you reloaded the pages.

I am not sure I had the same problem but I try anyway.

When I pressing the browser's back button all of the previous elements I selected in the filters are lost...

I think this may related to the page "cache" setting, if the page is not allowed to cache, so when you go back page, it will reload from server, and everything will be reloaded as default.

I thought it could be the solution, but it fails.

I set Cache in Smarty part.

Actually, when I am pressing back button on browser I can see the right url with the previous parameters, but then it disappears...

When I try to set "Use cache" (with file system) on the last Cache part of the Performences page, the layered navigation doesn't work anymore...

No it is not server cache, it is browser page cache.

When server render a page to browser (client), it can specify if the page can be cached by client and how much time to be cache.

This is just one of my doubt. It could be something else.

Any solution for this issue?

In my case, when activating filters price and/or weight (other filters work), then clicking on a product, then back button - the filter disappears (resets). It's in Google Chrome (Firefox, Safari seems to work).

Then clicking on a product, then back button the URL looks like this (and category page is reloaded) https://vaggur.se/11-vaggklockor-kreativ-modern-design#

Unfortunately it's not solved.

It works in Firefox and some other browsers, but not in Chrome.

When activating either "Storlek" (size) or "Pris" (price), the page resets after clicking back. It works for the other filters.

According to our theme developer it seems to be an issue with core Prestashop files.

Hi from 2022, any solution to this? I think that is something related with the ajax call that is not done when you press the back button...
