More of one shop (urgent)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am trying to install several shops but each with different database.

Do I need to upload all directory prestashop whole to work?

It really seems to me that just because a couple of configuration files that have or images, is a bit cumbersome having to upload the entire folder and use much space on the hosting (and I probably say something that is not the same 30Mb to 10Kb as much).

Please I need a quick and urgent response.

Thank you very much in advance.

A greeting.

Prestashop is set to work with only one configuration file pointing to one database.

What you could try to do it store all the files except the /config/ folder in one main location.
Then create a symbolic link to that folder from each location where you want to install prestashop, but keep a local copy of the config directory, so it could point to a different database.

Hi,

I have been trying to do what that tells me I can not do or do not know it. I tried to put into the config folder several folders with their respective configuration files but those settings are called several times from many other files. Do not know if would have to modify those files or what to do.

Can you help me please?.

Thank you very much!!!!

Hello,

What I want to have is a list of companies on a homepage (a part of prestashop), from which give access to all stores.

The problem is that to provide access to all the stores right now I prestashop many folders as I have in my shopping list, and that in the Internet server is too.

My intention is to create only one folder and create as many prestashop "config" as stores, but not how.
