Rohans
Hi,We are facing this issue with our online store. The issue is caused from some changes to the site (may be). Customers browsing the site can't see the new changes we are making in the theme via design or programming etc. and some of our customers still see the old version of the site. We are using a third party premium theme on the store and its customized. We even disabled the presta's default cache and CCC option in back office but issue is still there. Can anyone provide a solution or hint to debug the problem? Thanks
selectshop.at
You deleted the smarty cache ? Also customers which visited your site could be seeing a cached site. but this is a browser problem and your customers need to delete browser cache and cookie sessions. How to delete smarty cache: advanced parameters --> performance. On top right side the erasor button = clear smarty cache.
Rohans
Hi, Thanks for your response. Yes, the site is not running in cache at the moment and every now and then we clear the cache manually and leave site to run without cache so that customers can load fresh content with changes. Seems like its browser cache to which we cannot clear and customers are required to clear it themselves. By the way, is there anything we can do on our site which must force user's browser to clear old browser cache and load fresh content from the site/server? selectshop.at
Not by default, cause it is a local problem, not a problem of your site.
vekia
maybe you use some caching module like express cache ? it will work even if the caching is turned off
