How to use a shared cart between two sites

Hi,

 

I have created a fashion store with prestashop 1.6 and i d like to create one more for kids fashion. I will have two logos in both sites in order to redirect the customer. But i want to have a shared cart. For example, If a customer try to buy a product from kids store and puts it in the cart  and press adult fashion store logo, then he will be redirected to the other store and he can continue shopping having the product from kid store in place.

Is it feasible? And if so, could you help me to implement it?

Hi George,

You can use multi-shop functionnalities to implement it. But based on your idea one single store with customized category templates can do the job.

As i have understood, multi-shop functionality regards a shop which migrates other shops' products and i don't know how can i fit it to me.

Also, if i could have two different home pages (one main home page and if customer clicks kids store logo, customer will be redirected to a different home page with kids menu, kids brands slider, different UI etc), it would be the best solution.

Does the customized category templates regards this approach or something else?

 

I am new developer using prestashop.

I would appreciate if  you could help me with that.
