split multistory shops to single shops

Hi,

 

   some time ago I decided to use the prestashop multistep feature but today I need to have my 2 shops separated.

 

http://ecommerce.startupevolution.it (from here there are 2 shops)

 

Now.. I've tried many roads:

 

- Akeedba Solo to backup and restore, trying to disable prestashop multistore form advanced preferences and selecting 1 shop for default. NO LUCK

 

- Export DB from prestashop preferences, trying to export 2 DBs for the 2 shops.. NO LUCK

 

I just need to understand if there is a right procedure to follow or if I need to start to create a brand news shop and have it to import just catalogue and all the best I can import from the "old" shop..

I think you can split the database, but it would require so much effort and tests, so try rather to import data to the new shops.
