how to increase shipping tax depending on quantity and total price of order? or just quantity

hey there

pretty much i want to increase the shipping cost depending on the order quantity of products and maybe total price of order.. but priority is with quantity of products

i tried changing codes but it's complicated somehow

i had to find all places that include shipping cost like in 1-blockcart module, 2-one page checkout, 3-payment, 4-inserting to database... and then change some codes.. and it's alot of work and hard

 

so is there anyway to do this technically?

By default, PresatShop does not support configuration for shipping fee based on number of items.

 

But you may use following as workaround:

At shipping carrier, set the shipping fee to 0 by define a big range of price or weight.

Then set Additional Shipping Cost for each product, by this way, the shipping fee actually will be calculated per item of product.

but it's not exactly what i need

the way i'm saying is that there's a default shipping cost like 10$ but when it goes beyond a number of items it will add extra fee and it would be 13$

so i can't set default to 0 like that... so? is the a way?

The Tax amount should be based on shipping fee and tax the Tax rate you selected. not sure what you mean by "default shipping tax 10$".

my suggested work around should work, if you set carrier shipping fee to 0.

and set additional shipping cost of a product to a specific amount, for example: $5,

then if you buy 4 of the product, it will be $20, is that what you wanted?
