Penge
' Hello. Yesterday I my statistic on Prestashop suddently showed that I had more than 3000 visitors during that day and more than 100 last 30 minutes. The same happens today. When looking at the IP list of the visitors I see that it is the same IP that attack my shop all the time, every 30-40 second. By using WHOIS I see that the IP address belongs to someone in Bejing China. 59.40.201.19 How can I stop this IP adress from visiting my shop and xxxx up my stats ?? I have installed the free module Ban IP Free but and put the IP address in there but it don't seem to have any effect. Thank you Petter Edited April 22, 2016 by El Patron removed inappropriate lang (see edit history)

Nofire
Do you have cPanel on your server you can block them that way.
Penge
Update: It seems that the Ban IP Free is working after all. Maybe it just needed some time to settle. The IP address is no longer attacking my site and things are back to normal. If it starts again I will check our the cPanel and also the paid version of the module. Thanks for your help. HiPresta
Try this module to solve your problem https://addons.prestashop.com/en/website-security-access/29748-ban-ip-addresses-countries-bots.html
El Patron
I recommend modification of your .htaccess file (put at top) learn more here https://htaccessbook.com/block-ip-address/ you can search block ip by htaccess, but it's easiest, most common method. happy selling
