Prestashop to messed up to fix -- best way to start over but also save data?

Title pretty much says it all -- the store is mostly functional but there are issues constantly and it seems like they are unique to my store and I can't figure it out.

 

I've been wanting to move the site from shared hosting to a VPN anyway so this weekend I'm going to try to do it.

 

 

My question is -- is there a way to basically start over but keep my data?

 

 

I would like to do a clean install of my current version of PrestaShop, install all the same modules, import all the data -- is that possible?

 

By import all the data if possible I'd like to have all the data extracted as text and then imported into a new database. Basically the problems on my store are so enigmatic that I don't trust that just copying the database would fix them.

You can export all necessary data as CSV and them import them, but you must double check all IDs. It is not so easy as it looks.
