Show carrier in checkout only when is more than 2 products in cart

Is there any possibility to show carrier in checkout only when customer have 2 or more products in the cart? 

If not can You tell me which files and controllers are responsible for carriers at checkout rules?

I am bumping the thread because I did not found a solution ... Does anyone now how to show a carrier if there is 2 products in the cart with different reference numbers? If not then someone can help me where I can find file responsible for carrier cart assign logic?
