Cart rules not adjusting for vouchers.

Hello Everyone. Thank you in advance to everyone that reads this and anyone that can help.

 

So here we go, im having trouble with my site. Currently our site gives out one free gift per order. This works by putting all of the free options in a category and allowing our customers to choose the product that they qualify for ( ex. free 30ml with orders over $30). I pair this with a cart rule allowing a discount of the product amount once the order toal is over $30 and they have added that free product to their cart.

 

Everything works great untill someone uses a voucher and discounts their order. If a voucher is used on a $30 order - making it $10 the cart rule still allows the customer to get the free $30 gift.

 

How can I change this ? We dont have this situation happen to oftain but when it does we are loosing money:(
