hELP Friendly URL Not working..!

Gey guys....

 

So I'm ready to go LIVE with my website but I'm having extreme difficulties. I want to remove the "ecommerce" in my website. I want it to say www.yourname.com and not www.yourname.com/ecommerce.  The friendly URL is not working for me. any help will be greatly appreciated.

I see friendly url is working fine on your site, the only problem is you have a redirection to /ecommerce/

I have some questions:

Have you done a redirection on .htaccess or hosting panel?

the PS instalation files are on root public_html?

 

It will help me to have access to ftp, or at least an screenshoot of ftp root site.

Thanks for your response eljose2 ....Yes the Installation is in the root of  the public html. I just need a quick guide on how to do it if you can post it here others will also benefit . The .htaccess is not regenerating. If you could post a .htaccess on how to direct www.yourname.com/ecommerce to www.youname.com I will appreciate it a lot and like I said others will benfit from it as well. Thanks
