dursun
I have installed the PrestaShop.I have followed all installation steps. The front shop displays OK but I cannot access to the admin /control panel area. The following error comes up..There is 1 error 1. employee does not exist, or bad passwordI went into the database and change the password and email address and still doesn’t let me go in and when I click "Lost password" it doesn't send me anything. To be honest.. this issue at first stage of using the PrestaShop cart puts so many people off not using this card. It would be better if you have a clear solution for this. Thanks for any help
debwire
Okay, I thought I was losing my mind... I've been experiencing the same issue. I have re-installed it three times thinking I was doing something wrong when I wasn't... Is the 1.3 version ready for live sites yet? Version 1.2 isn't working properly once installed. debwire
By the way, it's worth mentioning that while the script installs and it can be viewed on the front end, during the installation process it never gets to step 5. I get no response when I click on the next or continue button at step 4.

svetaines1
I don't know ... I love Presta from first sight, but seems to be it just doesn't work at the moment ...I will try to find out solution. On my local machine I dont have that problems. Bad thing what Presta not compatible with most popular PHP versions. Almost all hosts in my country use such version of PHP, which was listed by Presta as incompatible
tk007
1. employee does not exist, or bad passwordI've the same problem you had. Did you found an answer since the last post ?During step 4 I had also the problem that nothing moved after introducing all datas. Then I just unselected the "send me informations per e-mail" and it worked... strange.
svetaines1
I had that problem on my local server and I think it was cookie related issue. What about my blank page. After I enable error display, I found what it was problem because of bad file uploading to hosting server. So, always check you file permissions, upload files again and if it doesn't help, pray
h4r15
Same problem here.Presta seems promising. I installed on MAMP, fine, delete install directory, rename admin directory then login to the back office. There is 1 error: employee does not exist, or bad passwordclick 'lost password', type my mail address used during installation, the result is: "this account doesn't exist"What was that if i even cannot login?
