Could anyone help me integrate an api from my supplier?

I want to try an integration of an api for an online whole sale supplier,

Not sure where to start, can anyone help me do it? it's a one time setup.

But i thought prestashop had the tools built-in to take care of api integration.

I just want to get auto updated products from my supplier to my perstashop.

No, prestashop didn't have that function. You can only import one time your products.

This is not a true statement.  The import function allows you to add new products, or to update existing products

Yea I was trying import categories / products, from csv files provided by my supplier,

My supplier has an api but no support for it so I haven't a clue what to do with that.

Well, if they do not provide support for their API, then I would avoid using it.
