Back office view erroneous not displaying proper values

Hello, I come to you with an issue that has been going on for a long time now. 

 

When I create a new product and save it to the database, the product gets created properly and the view is updated accordingly. When I try to modify that product though, the new modifications are not showing up, only the old ones. I do not know why this is the case. With about 100 products on the store, modifying products becomes impossible because every time a employee is trying to change the characteristics of a product, old data is being sent into the database as updated data is not showing up properly in the text boxes. 

 

 

Is there any fix for that yet? Has anyone else got this problem? What causes this problem?  Is this a cache problem? How would I go about emptying the back office cache?

I have found another problem, i have deleted a carrier, but this carrier is still there in the database, how can i clean the database of carriers that dont exist anymore but are associated to products still?
