smtp not working

hello everyone

all my emails go to spam folder on gmail.

i have been told that if i will use smtp instead of php this will fix th issue

the problem is i get an error when i activate smtp:

The SMTP connection failed to start [smtp.techbit.co.il:25]: fsockopen returned Error Number 0 and Error String 'php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known'

i checked that the smtp server is running with ssh and everything seems fine.

i tried using qmail, postfix and msmtp. all got the same error, which led me to believe the problem is with prestashop.

 

anyone have any idea?
