ps_future , ps_category_product , field position ?

hi guy , i am  novice  of prestashop 

i try to understund  how  work a db  because  i want  build  some simple app, i  want  understun how  work  a  product inside the db , i notice  this  field position  in ps_future , ps_category_product ,  but  i dont understund the meaning , i   understund  is some  similar to order ,  but if  i change  directly in db  and refersh my  page  not  see  nothing different , come   someone can explain me ???

Before you want to help, you need learn how to ask a question. How to explain your problem. so someone can understand.

 

With the details, I think there is no one can't help you.

 

when you change directly in database, it may appear or not. Example if you edit feature name in ps_feature_lang, then the feature name will be change in backend and front end.

i  created a product  and in  backend  i saw  ,  but  in front end  no , i  created  a product  directly in db.

In practic  i  think  i must  sett a  publish , if  exist ,  can  you help me??

Hi,

 

If you create product directly in db. then it may break your Prestashop site.

You should carefully with db. Let only use it for debug purpose.

 

About problem when you create product in backend, and don't see in front end. Please make sure that you enable the product.

Try to enable debug mode, you will see if there is any php error.
