configuring frot page of template

can someone please help me, iam trying to change the from page of my template using the admin sectioon of the webiste and it's saaying


Home text editor
Unable to update the editor file.
Please check the editor file's writing permissions.


how do i locate the editor file to set the permission, please help me.

you have to change modules folder permission to 777 with all subfolders.

Thanks for your reply. i have done this, all files permissions are set under modules, but it's still dissplaying the error message.

do i then have to open all the files and set the permissions?

thanks a lot, got that sorted now. another problem i find is that, iam trying to display featured product on my front page but cant find option in admin to do that
