Different Price Reductions for Attributes.

Hello all,

I know that you can reduce the price of a product (in its main/info tab) by a certain dollar or percentage amount, but this affects all the prices including every attribute combination for that product. I was wondering if there was a way or module that would allow different reduction amounts for each attribute, and ways to only apply reductions to maybe some of the attribute combinations and not all.

I surprised more people haven't had to apply different sales/discount amounts to different attributes...

Maybe somebody could help me with this question: What files should I be looking to edit?

I started looking through the files on my test site, and so far I've only found the need to edit admin/tabs/AdminProduct.php and classes/Product.php. Also, added 2 additional fields - reduction_price and reduction_percent - to the ps_product_attribute table. Is there any other files and/or db tables I should take into consideration?

Would creating a module/modification such as this be difficult to do? Even if I later decided to hire a programmer (costs)?
