Insert links as products in the product list/grid? Visual examples inside.

I'll put an example:

 

Let's suppose I sell bathroom taps. I have several series of taps, each series has products with different uses and applications. I want a link to the series to be inserted like a product in the product list/grid without it linking to an actual product page, but to the same product list, only showing the products included in the series.

 

I'm attaching a visual example to clarify things:

- NOW is the regular list I have now.

- WIW is "what I want", as you see, a "product series" amongst other regular products (I removed the price to make it clearer).

- WISD is "what it should do" when I click there. That is, go to a list of the products that are comprised in that series, instead of going to a product page. However, this one is just to clarify that I want it to be a mere link to wherever I want it to link. In this case, a group of products filtered by series.

 

Is there a way to do this?

If I understand correctly want you want can be achieved by using categories and subcategories.

You do not need any fancy links just to set up products in the right way (subcategories)
