Top horizontal menu problem - Elation advanced touch theme

Hey there,

 

I am using the Elation advanced touch theme for my shop and there is problem with the display of the top horizontal menu.

The headings show vertically instead of horizontally which messes up with everything on the homepage.

According to someone with much more knowledge than I do this has to do with a problem with the css. He tried everything he could but so far no luck to fix this issue. We are wondering if maybe the "top horizontal menu" module is incompatible with Prestashop version 1.6.1.3. 

 

Any idea how this could be fixed? Any help would be really appreciated.
