Orders not showing in back office

Recommended Posts

Hi there,
The other day we got our first order via our prestashop installation.
We have 1 major problem though and we really need some advice about the matter before we can start using prestashop installations on our other websites.

The order came though via paypal 100% fine, it said the product and the address of the customer also the customer details where fine too in the back office.

The thing is though the order is not being displayed in the back office. Under:
Back Office >> Orders

It says: No items found

The item has now been shipped but there is no reference to this on the order page.

If i go into the customers account I can see there Last cart transaction which shows the item what they ordered but nothing is showing on my orders page, can someone please help me out with this or does any one know why this could be happening ect..

Many thanks

You probably have the same issue I had... I posted about this yesterday...

Also see this thread:

First check and see if the 'recommend a friend' links crash and if the other payment methods give you an error 500 page. Try changing the permissions of the relevant folder from 777 to slightly less "free" options such as 755 and see what happens; if the error goes it's probably the cause.

The permissions recommended as default for 777 needed to be amended to 755 in my case (my hosting must require different settings than normal for whatever reason). I amended a few of the relevant folders within the modules folder which resolved the issue for me.

It might be easier taking it offline for a couple days so you can test everything otherwise it could get a bit messy if things aren't working quite right and you have real customers...
