How to move PrestaShop to another computer?

Hi,

 

I have installed PrestaShop on my desktop computer at home using Wampserver.

Now I want to work on the page even when being abroad and would like to move the PrestaShop, BackOffice and all templates I used and modified to a portable device.

 

Unfortunately I couldn't find any manual how to proceed. Is here anyone who can help me with this?

Both computers (desktop and laptop) are using Windows.

Here is the basic steps, for details please refer PrestaShop user guide

 

1. copy the whole store folder

2. backup your store database and restore to destination computer

3. login to back office - Preferences - URLS & SEO tab to change your store domain and folder and click save.

(this will trigger regenerate .htaccess file to use new location and server)
