Creating full width header

Hi,

I've been trying to change my header into 100% width but without any luck. I've bought and installed a theme so I guess the method for default theme doesn't apply here, but I'm hopefull someone can help me anyway

And you'll find an attached image of how I would like it. Preferably the image slider should also be full width.

the slider module tpl file puts the slider inside a container css class, this limits it's width.  I deleted the container class from the highlighted line below, that will make it full width.

 

Needs a new image though.

 

Check the homeslider.tpl in /themes/<your-theme>/modules/homeslider/
