Skip Cart Summary Step

Hi There,

 

Ive been editing the ordercontroller and order template files to basically skip the cart summary page at the beginning of the checkout. I have been making small edits but cant seem to get this right.

 

Basically I want the user to follw a simple 3 or 4 step Rule. Basically

 

Step 1: Login or register after adding a product to cart.

Step 2: Register / Update address whether logged in or not.

Step 3: Select Carrier

Step 4: And Final step, payment.

 

I dont need to customise anything, just need to change the ordering and remove the summary page.

 

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?
