DanielMck
Is there a way to create a page for the default shop category? ie a root category page. Currently on our site, you go into a product page, the breadcrumbs are there, first you have the sub categories as expected, then before that you have 'Home', i would expect or i would like the 'Home' page to take me to a page that contains all the shop subcategories, instead it takes me back to the site home page. I've entered the shop url followed by category id 1, the proper url for it (can't think of it right now) This takes me to a 404 page, i've added the root category link to a tab in the navigation, this again takes me to a 404. I want customers to be able to filter from the very root category, i can do a workaround by creating an 'All Categories' Category and then adding all my categories under that but surely there must be a better way to do it? Shops under construction and unfortunately i don't have permission to post screenshots, but i think you should know what i mean... Any help appreciated
DanielMck
I guess i'll just have to do the workaround, as i've just realised that when products are put in the home category they come up the home page as featured products. Saying as i want to keep that feature, the workaround will have to do.
