How To Add Product Details (Name, Description, Additional Fields) In Status Emails

Hi,

 

Can someone help with finding a solution for adding additional information in emails sent to customers when I change the status? I need to create a new status, create a new email template for that status that includes (but not limited to): product name, product description, product reference, other fields. I added {products} to the email template html but it does not display the details (name, reference). I probably need to change some more files. I searched the forums but I could not find a clear solution. Please help. I want to launch the website and this would help my productivity a lot (not having to send customer emails with product details manually after the order). Is there a step by step guide for this?
