Custom Index Page

I have custom landing page - its just html page with links from prestashop store, 

 

i've done it like this in .htaccess:

#Alternate default index page

DirectoryIndex webindex.html

 

so user neve gets the real prestashop index.php

 

but because of this im getting some errors ... like for examplethis when i try to register user: TECHNICAL ERROR: unable to load form. Details: Error thrown: [object Object] Text status: parsererror

 

when i remove above code  everything works fine. so can anyone suggest some way of having custom landing page instead of presta's index  page?

You could move the shop to a sub directory and have the custom landing page in the root.

Thsi will avoid the browser index conflict, the link to the shop might be as simple as yourdomain.com/shop.
