Products And Sales & Paypal Orders Not Showing

Hi All

 

Hope someone can help please

 

I have a new PrestaShop site and did a test order through PayPal to make sure there were no issues.

 

I made the order and made payment through PayPal and it all went through ok

However, the sale and sale details did not show up in the dashboard.

Also at the time the item I looked at and ordered did show up in "Most Viewed" but when I logged out and back in again it was all blank 

 

Hope someone can advise as Im fairly new to PS so assume its in the setting issue?

Having the same issue here. Pretty amazing that orders don't show up in the order stats (or anywhere else for that matter). I've invested a lot of time creating store, adding products, ssl, etc. and now this?

Im on the case with PayPal again today. Some people have said that PayPal Europe works and have it running but Im not finding that myself despite not just me but having experienced PrestaShop gurus working on it too. Will update you with what I hear back

I did manage to make Paypal Europe work but not Paypal US

I installed the Paypal US - Canada module and it does not work !

This issue seems common but nobody from the add on or prestashop helps ...

Im assuming then that you cant use PayPal Europe, even though it works?

I can use a European Paypal Account and it works with the Europe module

I can not use a Paypal US account with the Europe or US module

 

I am looking into shopify and bigcommerce as we speak I already spent over $1500 in modules that prestashop refuse to refund but when you face morons it is better to run for your safety I need to run my business I don;t have time to lose with losers like Prestashop. They refuse to refund modules, they don;t answer when you tell the that it is surprising Prestashop doesn;t handle Paypal as Native like any ecommcerce does. In Magento this setup takes 1min !!!!!!!!!! I already lost 1 week ...

I'm getting pretty discouraged as well. Thought Prestashop was going to work for me but not being able to use PP correctly and have orders show up in my dashboard is a big problem.

 

BTW, i'm in the US using PayPal US and can't use the europe module.

I am using the Paypal Uerope module with a Paypal Europe account not a Paypal US account => that does not work

You need to open a paypal account in europe

Ok, i've got it working now. Its a problem with sales tax being charged for shipping between PayPal and Prestashop, the total amount wasn't the same, therefore, no back office record of completed transactions, etc.

 

Sales tax was being charged in Paypal for shipping costs, which wasn't jiving with what the Prestashop amount was

Thank the gods! My shop is now working correctly and can take orders, they show up in backoffice, stats and landing page and email confirmation is sent correctly!
