How To Make City Dropdown?

hi guys, how to create city dropdown list like country ? thank you

It is not a simple solution, here is just a general guidance.

 

You will need to create a new table in database to hold the cities for each state/province if the country contains state/provinces.

Just like the way states/province is managed, you will have the dependence of Country <== State/Province <== City

 

But if your store only serves one country and it happens the country does not have state/province, then you can use "State/Province" for cities.

First you select country than state will be bind on the basis of selected country and select state then bind city on the basis of selected state.

This will be a long process for layman.  I have a complete module that solve this for you.  Both on city and zip code drop-down.  And it will display everywhere an address is found.  It also have a feature to allow customers to add their city and zip code if is not listed.  Well,  you can disable the feature if you don't want the customer to add their own city and zip code.  I will send the link here if you want or can message me if you want too. ..

I saw, I asked on the Addons page as well. Prestashop should remove these modules since they do not have a tracking record of customer satisfaction or a response time, because if we purchase that and if so happens like 80% of modules to have small to large bugs and the seller in question isn't available anymore, then we cannot get our money back per the stupid European legislation for digital goods.
