southrnbelle
when i create new products and upload the images in one category, the images of the existing products in another category disappear. it is like i am in an endless circle. i just reentered all the images for the mailbox cover category and now all my daylily images are missing.i really do not know where to look or how to fix. i am using the default theme. https://www.greenthumbsgalore.com
Tung at RockPOS.com
Did you try to re-generate images? Read more at: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Images+Preferences

southrnbelle
it feels as if there is some mismatch somewhere in the image database. everytime i add products, i am forced to reload all my images as one category becomes invisible - and i fix it, the next category disappears. until i am all through all categories reloading.this is not an upgrade from a previous version. Tung at RockPOS.com
Try to re-generate each type of image at a time. Don't select "All". Like this:
southrnbelle
thank you, i have tried that and it also times out for me. i have about 500 products (~600 images) so far
southrnbelle
i suspect it may have been related to my store having different products with the exact same name/ID in different categories.
Tung at RockPOS.com
I don't think so! In this case, I guest you will have to walk through the code and see where it really ends the request.
flyclothing
Did you ever discover what the issue was here? I am also having images randomly disappear. Just manually upload product images and watched them disappear within two hours of being uploaded.
