tztudio
PROBLEMS WITH MODULES IN BACK OFFICE website tstudiojewelry.com I am using Prestashop v1.6.1.1 Custom theme from Templatemonster I am having problems with the modules section in my back office. I am unable to install, update or delete modules. Problem #1: I am having trouble installing a new module (easymarketing). I have uploaded the module in my back office (zip file), it says the module was uploaded, but I do not see it in my list of modules. I even tried to install it manually, by copying it via FTP to /public_html/modules, but I still do not see it listed in my modules. (When I copied it via FTP, it was there for a bit, then mysteriously disappeared, and I did not delete it myself). Problem #2: I purchased the module "Google Shopping", but am unable to update it. It says in my back office that it needs to be updated, but when I try to do that, nothing happens. I contacted InMotion, my host provider in hopes they could help me. After an hour and a half on live chat, not only were they unable to solve my issues, he added an extra one while trying to help, that he was unable to reverse. So now I have 3 problems. Problem #3: While InMotion was trying to fix the 2 problems above, all of a sudden, 100 extra modules appeared in my back office. Before our chat began, I only had 96 modules. Now I have 196. I am unable to delete these extra modules. Can anyone help me please? Thank you in advance! : ) Teresa
Simonas Invertus
#1 Did you select some filters? Maybe you set to show only installed modules? Or maybe just enabled? Or maybe just from one developer? Or maybe you have specific category, but not 'All'? #2 Did you contact module developer about this issue? #3 Default PrestaShop comes with somewhere around 190 modules, so I do not think that this is the issue.
