AgenceKiou
Hi. I'm new to Prestashop and am looking to create my first e-commerce site. I've searched the forum but not really found an answer to my question. The question is : Is it possible to display certain products to the general public and certain products just for professionals based on a users selection on a previous page but without having to have a user login ? To explain further, the site will have a top level home page with two selection buttons, for example "Are you a company?" "Are you a private individual?". Someone who clicks "Company" will be directed to the store where the product list will be more industriel and component based. Someone who clicks "Individuel" will see the same store but with more end-user based products. There may be some overlap in that certain products will be available to both users. Is this possible? Does anyone know of tutoriels that explain the process? Do I need to add a module for this? Thanks in advance for your help
NemoPS
I don't think there is any tutorial about this. What you might want to try is dynamically setting up the customer group, based on the selection. It would be however necessary to add some heavy mods, to the cookie class (to hold the user's choice), as well as the group class (when it gets the current group, have it check the cookie for the stored choice). It might require others, too.
