Invoice Number - Again !!

Hi All
I have searched but didn't find the answer.

All I would like to do is change the starting point for the invoice number and change the # symbol to No.

Please could someone advise where and how this is done.

If noone comes up with a better answer, I change the invoice number by going to the database and typing in a new number for the last invoice. Have a look in the database for the order table.

For #, I would look through the files and change the character.

Well I popped into the SQL table and did what you said and that worked. Thank you

However, I have looked and can't find where the HASH # Symbol is coming from - Can you advise which files to edit?

# (hash) is a difficult one to identify with a global search without knowing where you are referring to (as # is used for so many things eg color, commenting etc)
Do you mean in the emails ? If so, have a look in the /mails/ folder

Edited - I also see that the hash symbol in here can show as 1.

Not emails - I want to take it off the invoice. PDF - quite tricky.
