Evowrap
Im trialing Prestashop and Im copying everything from my old (none Prestashop) website over to prestashop. im making use of prestashops own domain and when Ive got the site configured Ill change to my own domain name. Im making use of SSL for the website and I see its a prestashop SSL cert thats beuing used. When I transfer to my own domain I take it Ill need to buy an SSL certificate to install? Is thewre a way I can do this prior to changing to my own domain? I do have one on my current live website so will that just work with prestashop when i change DNS settings to make the prestashop live?
RawEnergy
I have this same question - I have an ssl certificate through GODADDY how do I apply it to my presta shop store that is using my own subdomain?
bellini13
If you are using PS Cloud, you can't. You would have to purchase a new SSL certificate directly from Prestashop. If you are not using PS Cloud, but rather you have installed Prestashop on your own server, then you should contact your hosting provider to ensure they have installed the certificate for you.
