Csv File Import & Update

Hello,

 

I am trying to import a wholesaler's catalog that they have provided in CSV format. They also provide an updated CSV file every hour to update inventory availability.

 

Is there a way I can select a portion of their catalog to use for my store since I don't want everything but still use their inventory update file to regenerate availability? Or will the new update keep looking for the complete catalog to update?

 

 

I have zero experience with CSV files and this is my first ecommerce venture so I apologize if this is a stupid question but importing these files and updating them is confusing me right now.

 

Any help or suggested module even would be appreciated.

We can do several things for you:

 

- Filter the supplier file to contain only certain products that you want.

 

- Import the filtered file to your store.

 

- Using the hourly file, update available quantities on your store (once a day).
