Kajmer
Hello, I have been trying to set the tax rule up to charge taxes only for Texas customers. I tried to edit the target country state, i even put up the zip code range for all texas locations. But somehow, either it charges texas state tax, which is 8.25%, to all purchases regardless where the actual customer is in the United States, or it does not charge taxes at all even for texas customers. I need some help regarding this issue. Thank you and kind regards
tdr170
You really do not need the zip range this would be used if your state has county surcharges and you want to collect those, I do not. First make sure that all your products are set to apply taxes only to your state this is in the product, prices tab. If this is already done and your sure Prestashop should only apply tax to customers of Texas. What version of Prestashop and is this with your products or the demo products. Kajmer
I see what you are saying about the zip range but in Texas there are no county surcharges, it is 8.25% everywhere in Texas. All of my products are set for Texas tax rate, but if someone places an order from a different state, that customer will have to pay the Texas tax for the product, which is not right. I tried to dis enable all the other state tax rules and kept the Texas tax rule only, but the result was the same. People are still getting charged for TX tax. My version of prestashop is 1.6.1.
