Cart Rules - Nowhere For Customer To Enter Voucher Code

Hello all.

 

I've recently made the jump to prestashop 1.6 and am in the process of sorting a few of my websites on it.

 

I don't know if I'm being silly or not but when I have set a cart rule with a voucher code (no restrictions and time limit is set to expire in 2020). There is nowhere at all on the front end of the website to enter a code??

The voucher box shows for me, I added a product to the cart selected proceed to checkout and the voucher box shows in the lower left corner of the cart summery.

I have the same problem, there's no voucher box in the cart summary or elsewhere.

It could be a theme issue. Are you using a custom theme?

Indeed that could be a custom theme error. 

 

I've put my site from local to live and the problem disappeared! 

Check if the problem occurs on tablet or phone.

if you've got problem on local environment, and not on remote host it is not a theme error

problem is somewhere "in background", something related to cache i think

Hi, I don't know if it is the right thread to post this, but all my products already have a 5% discount on my webstore. 

During a month I wanted to give a 15% discount to several customers. 

 

I created a cart rule, and configured it, but when I tested it with a fake order, I realized that the 15% discount accumulates with the previous 5% discount. Giving the customer 5% + 15% discount over the product base price. 

 

Is there any way to ignore the previous 5% discount, and for the customers with the voucher code, apply only 15% discount over the base price?
