Side Categories

Hi,

 

I have bought a theme for Prestashop. The theme has a top menu bar as standard. But the main categories menu is at the left of the page. 

 

My question is - Is there a way for this categories menu to only appear on the homepage, and not every single page.

The reason for this is because, I want the user to choose their product etc, then be able to refine it using the Layered Block on the left that appears once inside a Category. I have managed to move it around so this appears at the top left, but the Side Categories menu is now just sat underneath it.

 

I realise this is a custom theme, I have tried contacting them. They don't speak good English, and takes them weeks to get back to me.
