Status Of Product Attribute

At the moment it is not possible to give an attribute on product level a status. (active/non-active, like it is possible by the products itself)

 

I can only delete an attribute when in fact I want to hide it for the customers.

I'm manually maintain my stock, and some products are very variable in availibility, so it would save me a lot of time and give me more oversight when I can just choose the visibility of the attributes instead of deleting and adding again.

 

Is there maybe a module that can handle this?
