weloveaccents Posted February 24, 2016 Share Posted February 24, 2016 I'm unable to add new product to my Prestashop website. The NAME column on the Information tab refuses to update. I enter all the details on the Information page Name, Reference Code, Description and Short Description and press Save and Stay OR Save, and the product is not saved and the NAME field is empty again. I have also tried creating new product by duplicating an existing product, however again the NAME column will not change, it stays at the same name as the product that I duplicated from. weloveaccents Posted February 24, 2016 Author Share Posted February 24, 2016 The issue is browser specific. The problem shows in Microsoft Edge browser. When I switched to Google Chrome all worked fine. You can resolve this topic, but something to be aware of. I'm running 1.6.1.4 and I have updated but a few weeks ago and all has been fine since the upgrade, but I haven't used Microsoft Edge very much before. americanftasat Posted November 17, 2016 Share Posted November 17, 2016 Hi, I'm having exact same problem. I have 1.6.1.3 version. I believe this issue started after I duplicated a product. Ever since, I can't add a new product. I'm afraid to delete the duplicate product as I may not be able to modify or add a new one. I would appreciate any guidance you can provide. Was using Chrome but would not add product, changed to Firefox Also There was an error in the UPC code which was not notifying me in Chrome, though it did in Firefox so fixed UPC code and product was added.
