[Solved] Layered Navigation Fillter Not Working - Endless Loading

The Layered Navigation module does not work. In front end I can not filter the products, no matter what filter I select it shows an endless loading icon and the products are not filtered.

 

I tried every advice on forum to resolve this problem: I updated to latest Presta version, I reinstalled the Layered Navigation module, I created new filter template, I disabled all cache features.

The theme developer tried to help but didn't find the problem.

I have the same problem.

 

When I click on any of the filters (list mode) the site beging to load and after few seconds it refreshes by itself. It makes impossible for a customer to filter anything.

 

Please help.

It might sound silly and i hope you might have already tried this but did you do the index all missing prices and rest of the three buttons in the layered navigation page?

It's not working because you have a javascript error. Disable javascript compression so we can see more information about the error.

I've disabled now javascript compression and all cache options and also I've rebuild all index (products, prices, etc).

Today new theme upgrade was released and after I upgrade the problem seems to be fixed. Thanks guys for the time.

The shop I am working on uses the 1.6.1.5 Prestashop version, and it has over 6000 product features.

When I click on Layered Navigation filter, everything freezes and endless loading icon appears, like you can see below:

PS: the shop will have 40 or 50.000 products, wen it will be completed.

PrestaShop can handle that number of products.

Check your developer console for javascript errors, the filter probably hangs from an error. The website is in maintenance mode so I can't check it out.

We have found the solution:

had to change the server PHP version from 5.6 to another (5.4 or 5.5 or 7).

We selected the PHP version 7, and now it works.

For me nothing found on the web was working, and after hours of trying again and again I figured it out that I have the debug mode enabled, and without any reason it seams that disabling it makes the layered navigation work again.
