Here's the error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/www/WEBSITE.COM/controllers/front/AuthController.php on line
El Patron
this seems related to running an older version of PHP, see this link https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/499482-technical-error/ I saw a couple other posts that insinuated older PHP. Hi, Thanks man. Upgraded to PHP7 and works a treat. I owe you a beer. Does php7 have any other benefits in terms of performance etc? I find prestashop can b a little slow, even with a few tweaks. I am more of a wino, lol I am not sure going to php v 7 is a good idea at this time, I see issues by some using it and there are some fixes by PS to run it. I'd test like crazy to make sure nothing is broken. I'd go 5.5 5.6 something like that...running fastcgi. after changing php, make sure to test your shop thoroughly in-case some important php feature got dropped.
