rosspep
I would like to amend the price text to something like the following: Was: £429 Now: £299 Instead of the default: £ 19.81 tax incl Thanks, Ross.
Daresh
If you mean the product page and this is a reduction made by some specific price setting, then you have the variables: $productPriceWithoutReduction $productPrice
rosspep
Thanks Daresh - forgive me I am new to PrestaShop and it is very different to platforms I have used previously. Could you point me to the location of these variables? Am I right in understanding the price without reduction is determined by a percentage rather than just a manually inputted figure? Ross. Daresh
You set your discount as a specific price in the product's Prices section. As I remember, in the default theme, when you do this the shop will show both prices (before and after) on the product's page. The reduction may be either a percentage or a value. Maybe try this first.
tdr170
Are you wanting to add a Was: price to the Product list and Product pages, look here to my site, I use MSRP: and Your Price: but easily changed. If this is what you want you have to edit the product-list.tpl and product.tpl files and add some code to show the old price as well as the text foe Was: and Now: https://team-shepherdusa.com

What you have on your site is exactly what I am trying to achieve. Could you tell me how I am able to access the tpl files ?
tdr170
You need to use either an FTP program such as Filezilla or through the File manager in your host control panel.
