robinast
PrestaShop 1.6.1.1 Server (inmotionhosting.com): Apache Version 2.4.16 PHP Version 5.5.32 MySQL Version 5.6.28 Architecture x86_64 Operating System linux I've got problems with the Prestashop installed at e-aiand.net: the backend is OK, but the frontend is completely missing. It's been all OK for several weeks. Must be something that I did today. Namely, I removed an old and broken Joomla installation from e-aiand.com and deleted several folders that had nothing to do (to my best knowledge) with Joomla or Prestashop. I did not touch anything at all at e-aiand.net. Also, I removed several unused (again, to my best knowledge) databases from older uninstalled applications. What may have went wrong? I am reaching the server. The site just never loads or errors out (in Firefox; Opera and Chrome give server error messages). See the attached file. robinast
I've made some progress in understanding what is wrong. The PrestaShop was installed in e-aiand.com/presta and later transferred to e-aiand.net (while e-aiand.com/presta was left as it was). Everything was OK - or so it seemed. Lately, I removed the initial installation folder (among other things) - and run into problems immediately: e-aiand.net was not accessible any more (though e-aiand.net/admin... was working as expected). After some thinking, I recreated e-aiand.com/presta and copied the content of e-aiand.net into it. e-aiand.net is accessible now. Thus, for some reason, PrestaShop installation at e-aiand.net needs PrestaShop core files in e-aiand.com/presta for frontoffice - but does not need them for backoffice. Strange, very strange... Why is that and how get rid of e-aiand.com/presta? Edited February 21, 2016 by robinast (see edit history)
musicmaster
Can you have a look in the ps_shop_url table of your database? What url and directory are defined there?
