presta'luv
Hi everyone, I'm french and i'm going to explain my problem in english, so, be lenient ! ^^ I'm using PS 1.4.7.0 and i want to show a permalink, in cart, for sharing his content on web (blogs, forums, facebook, twitt etc..)... Let me explain my idea : my friend wants to construct a network in his house : 1) i'm going on a website who sells cables, socket, and crimping tool.. 2) i add every products he needs on my cart with quantity, 3) i want to share my cart with my friend for giving him the full content for his project.. Actually, you can do a screenshot and send him, or giving him every product link etc. But, for many reasons, i want to give to my customers a possibility to send one permalink to everybody (or on forums, blogs etc.) and, when somebody clicks on this link, he comes to my website but directly in the cart page with every products (in cart) and good quantities.. I try to create a link with jquery strings like this : www.domain.com/cart?qty=1,1,2,1,3&id_product=01,08,24,02,29&token=iodjkozhozijc but it doesn't work... I think i can to that with a script How can i create this permalink ? Thanks to everyone who can help me ^^
presta'luv
I found something about "Shopify" => https://ecommerce.shopify.com/c/ecommerce-design/t/use-cart-permalink-to-get-to-cart-and-not-checkout-279199 Shopify give a $variad_id for doing what i want ! GuusMichielsen
+1, I'm looking for the same thing.I actually want my customer to be able to save the cart by sending a link to his/her e-mail address. This link would recreate (or retrieve) the cart by following that link later. This would obviously work with any e-mail address, so sending a link to a friend would work exactly the same way.
