New Product Is Missing From Ps_Stock_Available Table

Hi

I added a product direct to database.

it is in ps_product, ps_product_shop etc and appears on the site also with the price, but is shown as 'no stock' even though the product has + quantity in ps_product.

 

i checked ps_stock_available and the product_id is missing in this table.

 

i'm not using advanced stock management or multi-store.

 

should every product_id be in ps_stock_available and if so how do i get it to update with the stock quantity from ps_product
