Merchandise Return x days after DELIVERY date

Hi All,

Is there anyway that I can modify PS to calculate return validity periods from the the date of delivery rather than the date of purchase.

As here in the UK, the distance selling act states that the time starts from when the customer receives the goods and not when they order them

I just did a search of Prestashop for PS_ORDER_RETURN_NB_DAYS and the only place it appeared was in classes/PDF.php. It doesn't appear to be used in any calculations. I think you can just go to Tools > Translations > PDF translations and enter the translation for "days of initially receiving your order." as "days of delivery of your order.".

Hi Rocky,

I did a load of site wide searches on various things also and came up with zilch...

Its got to be there somewhere... PS has to calculate the date ordered vs todays date somewhere as I've tested changing the numbers to various amounts and it will allow and disallow me to do a return when the date is shorter.

I'll keep searching and let you know if I find anything.

In the classes folder open Order.php and goto to the function titled getNumberOfDays()

In the SELECT line change `date_add` to `delivery_date`
