datasi
Hello! The coupon system for prestashop seem to have very few possibilites and when a coupon is added it will count for every product in the shop. Like at cart rules i add a coupon and add the items i want to be affected by the coupon and do not select those that should not be affected by the coupon. This works but it really do not work, When i want to add a product not chosen for the coupon it will give a message saying that the product cannot be used by the coupon. But when i add another product to the cart and suddenly the coupon work for the product that is not chosen for the product.. So i really need to find a solution to exclude products from being affected by the coupon. This is what i have tried -Create a hidden category named excluded products and added the products i do not want to be affected by coupon there and adding the discount at 0% for all usergroups. Which i've read should make items not affected by discounts and coupons - added spesific products to the cart rules, but the coupon % just do a total discount on the cart once another product is added. So do anyone have a solution for excluding products and leaving products untouched by the discount? Also if there is a way avoid coupons to work on already discountet products. godlo
You need to use (in the action tab): "Apply a discount to : Selected product(s)", in this way only selected products from that categories will be discounted.
